Hello and welcome to my website. My name is Renee. I provide full interior design services to residential and contract clients. With extensive experience in fabrics, window treatments, furniture, upholstery, stone, paint, including faux finishes, lighting and accessories, I create complete interiors. Woodland Hills, CA is my base and I serve Southern California and beyond.

My favorite styles are Mediterranean, Traditional, Desert, Antique and Transitional. I have a Certificate in Interior Design and am a member of the Interior Design Society, LA/Ventura Chapter. I look forward to having you as a satisfied customer!



Biography

Renee has performed a wide range of interior design services for clients. Services have included drafting, space planning, fabric selection, stone selection and layout design, custom wood cabinetry design wood flooring, and window treatments. Projects have included high end and mid-level residential design, boutique hotels, and commercial showrooms. An estate of a major sports figure was furnished and accessorized. A high-rise condominium of a public relations consultant was upgraded. (He anointed Renee to be the "Very Best in L.A."!) A Beverly Hills residence was completely remodeled. A new custom carved kitchen, wood flooring, granite counters, lighting and all other aspects of the interior décor. She has redecorated hotel lobbies in Fresno and Chicago. She worked with Joe Ruggiero to develop furniture layout plans for Idea Houses at Design Centers nationwide. (See below)

To develop her skills, Renee has participated in numerous activities. After a fifteen year career in personnel relations with a major telephone company, Renee attended a local university to obtain a Certificate in Interior Design. She passed two extensive tests to obtain a California State certification as a Certified Interior Designer. She served an internship on the set of Days of Our Lives for NBC. She worked in the Concierge Office of the Pacific Design Center. Renee volunteered to serve as a docent for several Showcase Houses.

A trip to Italy with the ArchitecTour organization afforded the opportunity to meet and be informed as to the styles of many influential contemporary designers. Renee visited the Carrera marble quarry, the Murano glass factory, the Ferrari factory, the Techno factory, the Luce factory, the Ollivetti factory, the Alessi plant, the Sassuolo Tile Industry Center. She had the pleasure of visiting the studios, homes, and attended lectures of such renowned individuals as: Giorgio Marconi, Arnaldo Pomodoro, Ettore Sottsass, Vittorio Gregotti, Mario Botta, Alessandro Mendini, Mario Bellini, Gae Aulenti, Aldo Rossi, Andrea Ponsi and Paolo Portoghesi.

EXPERIENCE

President and Principal Designer. Performed a wide range of interior design services for clients. Services have included drafting, space planning, fabric selection, stone selection and installation, custom wood cabinetry design and construction, wood flooring, and window treatments. Projects have included high end and mid-level residential design, hotels, and commercial showrooms. An estate of a sports figure was furnished and accessorized. A high-rise condominium of a public relations consultant was upgraded. A Beverly Hills residence was completely gutted and restored.
Hotel lobbies redecorated in Fresno and Chicago. Developed furniture plans for Idea Houses at Design Centers nationwide.

Internship for Set Design with the "Days of Our Lives" Art Department.

EDUCATION

Learning Tree University Interior Design Certificate Program. Completed December 1996.

  • Westlake Design House 1997-docent during "open house" phase.
  • ArchitecTour Italy 1997-Toured Italian Interior Design and Architectural landmarks.
